Had a really enjoyable afternoon representing @lliswerryrunners at St.David’s hospice Newport today for the launch of this years City of Newport Half Marathon. As part of a group of representatives from six Newport based running clubs, we chatted all things running and discussed the great work done at the hospice, and how the #cityofnewporthalfmarathon is of huge benefit to the charity, and the people who depend on it. Many thanks for the invite @abettridge2034 it’s really whet my appetite for the event on 1st March, can’t wait!

Absolutely buzzing after today’s Cardiff Half Marathon, had a sub 1:40 on my radar for a few years and today I actually smashed it to pieces and achieved an all time PB at this distance😁 My favourite event of the year didn’t disappoint, usual amazing atmosphere and awesome support, especially nice when @mrprlee shouted at me at 130 decibels to stop looking at my bloody watch! Probably my best running achievement to date made possible by the best running club in the world! Going to celebrate now with a Tiny Rebel beer that looks like Fairy washing up liquid, but tastes great! Many thanks to @hartos16 for the awesome pic, much appreciated #cardiffhalfmarathon #cardiffhalfmarathon2024 #lliswerryrunners #precisionhydration

Another GLCL, another sunny, warm and muggy evening run, this time at Penallta Park, Caerphilly. Great to see so many club members out racing, especially those with Rack Raid still in their legs and those preparing for The Welsh Castles Relay next weekend 💪 #lumpybumpy #glcl #lliswerryrunners Photo by @gemthomass92
