Start off your week right!! First thing - I get a latte at @driftcoffee.kitchen and then walk right across the pathway to Nanny Goat's doors. Today I got a local Durham soap (@littlehomesteadfarm) for a visiting coworker, a plant-lovers sticker (@moonlightmakers) for an office friend, and some housemade pumpkin apple muffins (@cheenirtp) for a lunchtime sweet treat to fuel my week with Autumn flavors. How do you start off your week? #rtp #nannygoat #madewithlove #mondaymornings #startmyweek

☀️SUMMER COOKING CLASSES NOW LIVE☀️ We’ve been receiving tons of requests for classes this summer, and with the green @horseshoertp looking prettier than ever, we’ve decided to bring two mid-afternoon classes to the calendar, meant to encourage gathering inside, outside, before, during, and after—a fun thing to do with your friends, your family, a date, with the office, or solo. Plus, we’re bringing back a kid-friendly class! Build-your-own-naanzas, al fresco (on the porch), complete with a little personal Naanza for each kiddo at the end of instruction. An easy-peasy thing to do for all the parents seeking some kind of change in pace this summer vacation. In the perfect spot, too, with the splash pad, turf, shady spots, and AC inside @cheenirtp, complete with a bar and a Happy Hour menu for enjoying while the kids have their fun. Bring the whole gang! Make it a sibling outing! We’re so excited to host all the little hands for a class made just for them. Chutneys and Chaats, perfect for the summer, is adults-only; you’ll learn our signature chutneys and two kinds of chaats, then sit down to enjoy them, family-style, post instruction. The bar will be open, as will the kitchen, so come and stay awhile on a lazy July Saturday. Why not? It’s unlikely that we’ll have more classes on the calendar for some time, so snap these up while you can. We’re working on a few events instead—we’ll keep you posted. Get your tickets! Both of these classes will take place @cheenirtp: 3151 Elion Drive. Parking is free on site. The link is in our bio now! 🐒

It’s RICE BOWL SEASON: Nothing quite like our signature bowls to bring you a tasty, satisfying, flavor-packed meal in the warm summer weather. A bed of rice and chopped lettuce, house-made pickled onions, fresh mint chutney, tomatoes, cilantro, and a protein of your choice, with the star of the show, achaari mayo—they’re equal parts fresh and cooked, warm and cold, delicious and nutritious. Plus, like the one pictured above, we offer a fully VEGAN bowl—with local veggies and a homemade vegan achaari mayo—for anyone who prefers an alternative to chicken or paneer. Come get yours! We’re open from 12 - 8 PM, dine in or takeout. Parking is free, @horseshoertp is looking beautiful, the splash pad is open, the bar is serving, and we’d love to feed you and yours. 🐒
