THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SMARTPHONE AND ANDROID

People often get confused between Smartphone and Android phone. They often puzzle whether certain applications will support their Smartphone or not. We will clear all your doubts on Smartphones or Android phone.

To begin with, all android phones are Smartphones but all Smartphones are not android based. Android is an Operating System (OS) that is used in Smartphone.

There are several operating systems for Smartphones- Android OS (Google Inc.), Bada (Samsung Electronics), BlackBerry OS (Research In Motion), iPhone OS / iOS (Apple), MeeGo OS (Nokia and Intel), Palm OS (Garnet OS), Symbian OS (Nokia) and webOS (Palm/HP). So, android is an Operating System (OS) like others.

Smartphone is basically a core device which is more like a computer and OS is installed in them. Different brands prefer different OSs for giving different and better user-experience to their consumers. An operating system is the main software which enables the phone’s feature to function, like Windows 7 OS for a computer or a laptop.

Nowadays, android and iOS are the most popular operating systems for Smartphones. Companies like Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, and others use Android in their Smartphones, while iPhone uses iOS. Blackberry uses Blackberry OS. Nokia had Lumia phones which uses Windows phone, and on some of their new phones they have Android os

Hence, android phones are just a subcategory of Smartphone.

I swear,
there are master poets
still in the shadows
unpublished
washing their feets
in a pooled waterfall of muses
reclused in the chaste opulence of ambition
bending words in deeper meditations
than the noisemakers that everyone knows
There is a difference
a poet and a puppet
they may both have words
I swear,
some men worship the words
that flaps down to grain and gaze
at the fickleness of mankind
I am just a brother whose work is like a blacksmith
the dirty work of making gold reckon
the advertised familiarity
I am the go-between that has seen the backside
of God in your verses
I am unworthy
yet the charcoal of purity
is placed in my mouth
to birth lost scrolls
to taste the foundation of the world

When God made man
he made silent guides
so that the world may never
be lost by guile and godfatherism
