One of my favorites from Nanamals New Collection!

The perfect opportunity to combine a number of my favorite fabrics and colors, pulled from my "new stock", scraps/remnants/off-cuts, and spontaneous new purchase just for this Deer.

The body is linen with legs of striped thread-dyed cotton (how about those matched seams?!) The short trousers are a thin-waled corduroy print...charming mix of mushrooms, leaves, seed pods, acorns, etc. sewn from a scrap just big enough! Last but not least, the joyous Dutch collar is a quilting cotton and my "spontaneous" must-have purchase.

Approximately 55cm height. Stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Hand-embroidered features.

Short jacket with kimono sleeves. Pattern from Burda Style 11/25. I have another fabric that I actually planned for this pattern, but I tested it first with a different fabric. I really loved the pattern, so there will be another one soon. 😊

The fabric was bought some time ago from Ma'aseh B'dim. I don’t even remember which winter, and I had planned something else for it, but I really loved this design, so I changed my plans.

Funny story I had been looking for this issue for quite a while, and I found out that there is a wonderful shop in Budapest that I also bought from last year. Its name is Burda, and since my sister-in-law was traveling there for a vacation, I asked her that if she happened to pass by the area, she would buy the issue for me.

That same week was my birthday, and my sweet son Noam surprised me with two Burda magazines from Steimatzky. And which magazine??? The exact same one that was already on its way here! 😂

Well, luckily, at that shop I was able to get store credit, because normally they don’t exchange magazines, and I bought Burda 6/26 instead, which is where the previous design I posted came from.
