Dominican Republic mission trip ‘26 🇩🇴 What a blessing it is to get to be the hands and feet of Christ!

Matthew 28:19-20. Go and make disciples.
This trip has truly been so life changing. Not just for the people we served, but for me as well. I’ve always wanted to attend a mission trip, I think I was just too nervous to ask and I didn’t know if I was ready. But this year I felt God telling me it was my next step. So I listened and I knew I was called out to the Dominican Republic. Everyone there was so kind and so beyond welcoming. I learned from them not to be afraid of showing God’s love physically and emotionally. From the dancing, singing, and the worshipping- it was so powerful. I’m so glad we were able to touch peoples lives not just with the water filters, but with God’s light as well. I can’t thank my parents, our church leaders, Filter of Hope, and my friends enough for making this week such a memorable experience. Once a missionary, always a missionary. My name is Claire Michaelis and I was called out to spread Jesus’s light. 🤍☀️
