78 Tiki Drinks (several bottles of rum, juice of countless limes, 🍋s, 🍍s…). I am now a Drooling Bastard of Tonga Hut. I loved the journey, I met some amazing new friends along the way. Thanks to everyone for joining me to celebrate. Big thanks goes to @tikibyte for his encouragement, @el_wolfman_87 for helping me find the bottom of some of those 🤢 drinks, @sternrep for safely keeping me company in the Tiger Lounge. Thank you to all the craft folk behind and around the bar. Most of all, thank you to @mariekingoftonga for sharing your depth of knowledge on all things rum and tiki. @official_beachbumberry #groglog #tiki #lasoldesttikibar

Spending the afternoon getting in touch with the raw places, recalibrating after an intense 2 weeks. But finally able to feel again, to allow the catharsis of tears and words, shedding layers but also shedding light on subtle truths I was unwilling to see. I choose today not to live anymore the sanitized version of humanity, living into a false perception of what the outside world might be seeing. Even if there are times it feels like my soul is screaming, I’d rather live in the truth of what I feel, allow my feelings without having to rationalize or edit. Thank you to the teachers along the way who’ve showed me that my feelings are not “too much” or “too scary”, who’ve rode those waves with me til the waters calmed. 🙏🏽
