Introducing our next guest on @sibin_soundsystem , outta Leipzig, Germany comes the head honcho at JAHTARI records "Disrupt". With a background in breakcore, weirdo electronic music and a love for video game soundtracks Disrupt and a trashy laptop set out on a mission to unite bits and bytes with the goodness of DUB back in 2003. Since then the Jahtari 👾 label has been spreading it's distinctive brand of heavyweight 8-bit digi-dub from Leipzig all over the world. Not since the 1980s Casio themed digital reggae from Prince Jammys has there been such a unique sound in digital reggae music. Soundsystem selectors the world over sight the low end bass tone and hard drums from jahtari as optimum soundsystem selection, ruff , tough and ready without taking itself too seriously. Have a swipe through some of the catalog ➡️ Disrupt brings his Gameboy and a Laptop to run riddims King Jammy style for an extended dubbed out live session. 👽 @disrupt_jahtari plays at @pharmaciabar FRI 30 OCT. 🎟️ Online Tickets available Eventbrite (link in bio) 🎟️ Physical Tickets available at @downbeatrecords.limerick 🔊 Powered by SÍBíN SOUND

Childhood friends Frankie Downbeat and Ronan Macca built Síbín Soundsystem from the ground up in Limerick to give bass-heavy music the power and pressure they felt it deserved. They bring their system to Pharmacia at the end of the month, hosting Bristol-based OM Unit as he presents his Acid Dub Studies.
