BC20070812 — SEEING THINGS Borgata, Atlantic City, NJ. 2007. An interesting and often overlooked chapter in Black Crowes history. Paul Stacey on lead guitar, bringing his own touch to the band’s sound. And Chris? Beautifully clear in the mix, delivering a soulful, heartfelt performance of Seeing Things. There’s something special about hearing the band during this particular period. A different chemistry, a different feel, but unmistakably The Black Crowes. A lovely piece of footage, with excellent sound. WOMB OF THE FREE Keeping the rare stuff alive. #theblackcrowes #wombofthefree

A band only plays its first show once. Rainbow Body’s Live Debut with special guest Nicki Bluhm Our good friends at Coast Film Festival, Quoia, and A New Earth Project are bringing something special to the Irvine Bowl next Friday, October 23, and we wanted to share it with our community. Music has always been one of the ways we come together. It opens us up, connects us to one another, and reminds us how good it feels to share an experience. Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith, Rick Mitarotonda, Eric Krasno, Ross James, and Adam MacDougall come together as Rainbow Body, bringing their musical roots in Dawes, Goose, Soulive, Lettuce, and the Grateful Dead family into something entirely new. The evening opens with guitarist Ignacio Maria Gomez and cellist Garth Stevenson, whose remarkable work includes performing alongside whales.. A special night of music, friendship, and creative expression, shared with the community that makes gatherings like this possible. Love discovering new bands, and Rainbow 🌈 Body is one of the most exiting new super groups with Rick from Goose, the Goldsmiths from Dawes (we used “When My Time Comes” in the Lost Prophets surf film many moons ago), Eric Krasno from Soulive and Lettuce, Ross James from Phil Lesh & Friends and Adam MacDougall from Circles Around the Sun. Have been stoked to see how @anewearthproject and @coastfilmfestival are brining @rainbowbodytheband to launch their first concert at our newly liberated Irvine Bowl in Laguna Beach and they’ll be playing with @nickibluhm as a special guest on Oct 23rd!!! Tickets are still available at the @coastfilmfestival links in their bio. If you’re into having your face melt, be there! #livemusic #jamband #rainbowbody

Chris Robinson Brotherhood Rock Island Brewing Co Rock Island, IL 10-10-2011 15 YEARS AGO TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about an intimate show. Just look at the stage! Everyone on there like it's just your local band playing the local brewery... yet it's CRB! A month and a day before I even saw my first show (11/11/11), the boys played this on on 10/10/11. So I think this show is wild because it actually has a song I NEVER saw live... In the second set, the band played Shouldn't Have Took More Than You Gave, by Dave Mason. This show is the 9th and FINAL time they ever played the song!! It's a great night with more early interpretations, killer harmonies, and 1 Grateful Dead cover per set. Appaloosa is stunningly beautiful as the first song of the 2-song encore. Older Guys is an interesting choice... this show is definitely early in their amazing run.. and worth the listen. ENJOY!!!!!!!! - Set One - Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go Tulsa Yesterday Like A Tumbleweed In Eden Never Been To Spain Wheel Don't Roll Brown-Eyed Women Tomorrow Blues Rosalee - Set Two - Bright Lights, Big City The Seventh Son Girl On The Mountain Tough Mama Bertha Shouldn't Have Took More Than You Gave Reflections On A Broken Mirror Sunday Sound - encore - Appaloosa Older Guys Photographer: Unknown. #rockislandbrewing #chrisrobinsonbrotherhood #nealcasal #blackcrowes #ravensreels
