•In 2016, I started at MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program. Ten years later, I’m visiting Edmonton and writing out by hand my one person cabaret about my time here. UNPACKING: the art of making a short story long has six songs to carry the story along. Six shows to catch them this musical review of the past ten years of life through seven jobs, four cities, two theatre schools and one pandemic! Tickets in the link in the bio.• #unpacking #vancouverfringe #onewomenshow #macewantheatrearts

Over the last four months, I have been incredibly lucky to work the wonderful second year students @macewanmtp on their workshop musical of Into The Woods by Stephen Sondheim. It has been a very exciting experiment to stage this show with only a few props & costume pieces, some incredible Puppets, and plenty of energy from this cast. It has been incredibly rewarding and now I wish a week of sleep. Many thanks to this cast, the faculty at MacEwan, and my incredible collaborators @cathyderkach7 and @brittkjenner

Bootcamp is back! ☀️ After a spectacular inaugural year, Catalyst Musical Theatre Bootcamp returns this July for three weeks of comprehensive performance training with Catalyst’s team of internationally-celebrated artists.

We are thrilled to be back for another year of fun, skill-building, and creative discovery through the medium of musical theatre. Participants of Musical Theatre Bootcamp will be immersed in a one-of-a-kind experience exploring award-winning, Edmonton-made musical work with the artists themselves. Through our distinct creative approach, Catalyst prepares young performers with tools that will serve them in their artistic endeavours for years to come.

Once again, Musical Theatre Bootcamp is made possible through our partnership with MacEwan University Department of Theatre, home of the country’s leading post-secondary musical theatre training program. @macewanmtp

We’re thrilled to share MacEwan University’s 2026 theatre season and shine a spotlight on the talented, emerging artists coming out of their theatre program.

This collaboration is especially meaningful to us. Grindstone’s founder and Artistic Director, Byron Martin, is a MacEwan Theatre alum, and many MacEwan graduates continue to create, perform, and collaborate with us on Grindstone stages.

Catch two incredible productions this March:
Monoceros | March 4–8, 2026
A Chorus Line | March 25–29, 2026
