Friendship Spotlight ✨❤️‍🔥

Featuring Kate and Macey!

From Kate:
When I first met Macey I knew she was going to be one of my favorite people I would meet in college. We met through a mutual friend while rushing Zeta this past fall, and I honestly thought she didn’t like me at first, but I was in constant awe of her from the start. She’s incredibly smart, dedicated, well rounded, and we both find the same stupid things utterly hilarious. I was so excited to hear that we both had received positions on Executive Council because it meant I could easily weasel my way into her awesome life. I think the day that really sealed our friendship was our Ice Skating Sisterhood. I absolutely hate ice skating, but I knew it would be good to see my sisters and be social. Macey expressed that she also hates ice skating, and I begged on my hands and knees for her to come with me all throughout chapter that Monday. I got a text an hour later saying, “Ok fine I’m going to sisterhood”, and from that day on we haven’t stopped texting. I LOVE YOU MACEY!

From Macey:
Kate and I crossed paths so many times during our first weeks as Zetas, but we didn’t truly get to know each other until we were placed on Executive Council together. After that, we became instant besties (mostly because we realized the other could understand any internet reference we made). Ever since, we haven’t stopped laughing together, whether it’s at sisterhoods, chapter, or our weekly meetings. Getting to know Kate has been one of the BIGGEST joys of my ZTA experience. I’m so grateful that I get to call her my sister, my friend, and my fellow Exec officer. She has shown me what true ZTA sisterhood looks like. Kate perfectly embodies our key values - especially love (the greatest of all things!!) - and brings so much enthusiasm and kindness into everything she does. I am inspired by her every single day. I feel so incredibly lucky that Kate came into my life through our little ZTA chapter. I LOVE HER!!!
