Man... today was something truly special. We set out to give back, and God showed up in a major way. Handing over 350+ loaded backpacks to kids in need, blessing 30 foster youth with love, and pulling up to the Lamont event with 40 more bags... my heart is so full. Brothers working together for a greater purpose. All glory to God today and every day. 💯📚

School is almost here, and there are a lot of organizations across Bakersfield stepping up to help local families.

This is Part 1 of TBG’s Back-to-School Guide featuring free backpack giveaways, school supplies, resource fairs, health events, and more.

Save this post so you can come back to it when you need it, and send it to a parent, teacher, or anyone who could use these resources.

Part 2 drops next week with even more free back-to-school events happening around Bakersfield.

Which event are you planning to attend first?

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible barbers and hairstylists for donating your time, talent, and heart to our 2nd Annual Back-to-School Resource Fair. Your generosity helps our students walk into the new school year feeling confident, valued, and ready to learn.

We encourage our community to support these amazing local businesses—they don’t just create great haircuts, they give back to our community. Be sure to check them out!
