Honored and truly happy to be part of She – A Female Perspective at Museum Het Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom.

This wonderful exhibition presents 174 print works by female printmakers from all over the world — small in size, yet incredibly powerful in expression. The selected works originate from five years of international print mail art projects by Grafein (2021–2025), exploring themes such as perspective, connection, imagination, encounters, and the future of our planet.

A heartfelt thank you to curators Maja Anna Chris and Hans Labahn for this beautifully curated exhibition and for including my work once again.🧶🧶🧶

I’m especially grateful that another piece from my Redline Monotype series was selected. For me, this is a meaningful sign that the unique visual language and expressive character of these works continue to resonate with an international audience.

In my recent travels, I bring back paintings from local/street artists as souvenirs. This past year, I was blessed with the opportunity to live and work in Amsterdam—a city life experience in its purest form. I traversed the city’s streets and canals walking and cycling, tasted plenty of food, art, and history, picked up healthy habits of reading, exercising, and self-care, revived my horse riding passion, made new friends and interests, all with the comforting company of Loomi. And by sheer luck and good fortune, I stayed in a beautiful, 140-year old canal house with a lovely couple, their dog, and 12 cats.

I sought out a local artist to memorialize it all. It had to be the ultimate souvenir, and I couldn’t have predicted how well it turned out. I found @majachrisart, who, through continuous open conversations, captured both the essence and details of my vision better than I could have imagined. I just hung it on my living room wall in Kuwait and can’t stop looking at it.
