Missing these people and this place. 🤍

God places experiences, people, opportunities, and even rejections in our lives for a reason. Life isn’t only about the milestones we reach, but about the journey along the way—the people we meet, the friendships we build, the relationships we cherish, the hard days, the good days, the ordinary days, the growth, the beginnings, the endings, and the moments that don’t make sense until later.

Life is made up of seasons. A season to grow, to celebrate, to struggle, to change, to meet new people, to forgive, to remember, and to let go. Some people walk with us for a lifetime, while others are placed in our lives for a particular season. But just because a season ends doesn’t mean it wasn’t meaningful. Our lives are meaningful simply because of the opportunities we are blessed to experience.

Life is short, and I think we often try so hard to hold onto the things that fill us up—the friendships, the trips, the traditions, the laughter, and the places that become home for a little while. But maybe we aren’t always meant to hold onto a season; maybe we’re meant to be grateful that God allowed us to experience it.

I know the people I met and the experiences I had in Italy will stay with me through every season that comes next. I am beyond grateful for every relationship, opportunity, conversation, and memory God gave me during this chapter.

I didn’t realize I would be leaving Italy this summer with more than memories. I’m leaving with gratitude—for the people who became family, the experiences that helped me grow, and the reminder that life is simpler than it feels at times.

Here’s to being present for the season we’re in, trusting God with the ones ahead, and being grateful for the ones we’re blessed to look back on. 🇮🇹🤍
