I have been dreading making this post because I don’t think I was ever going to be ready to say goodbye. It’s so hard to put into words what travel ball has meant to me because it was never just a game. It became my second home, my safe place, and a huge part of who I am. For so many years, this field has been where I’ve experienced some of the happiest moments of my life, but also some of the hardest. Through every win, every loss, every tear, and every celebration, this game has shaped me into the person I am today. Travel ball gave me so much more than softball. It gave me lifelong friendships that I know I’ll carry with me forever. It gave me teammates who became sisters, coaches who believed in me, and memories that I would give anything to relive just one more time. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. To my parents... thank you will never be enough. Thank you for every early morning, every late night, every long drive, every hotel stay, every sacrifice, every word of encouragement, and every time you stood by my side no matter what. You gave up so much so I could chase my dreams, and I hope you know none of this would have been possible without you. I will forever be grateful for everything you’ve done for me. Softball taught me that not every prayer is answered the way we expect, not every game goes our way, and not every door stays open. But through it all, God always had a plan. He taught me patience, trust, perseverance, and that His timing is always better than my own. Looking back now, I can see His hand in every blessing, every challenge, and every opportunity He placed in my life. As heartbreaking as it is to close this chapter, I know the memories, friendships, lessons, and love this game gave me will stay with me forever. No one can ever take away the moments we shared, the laughs, the tournaments, the championships, or the people who made this journey so special. This isn’t just the end of travel ball—it’s the end of one of the greatest chapters of my life. A piece of my heart will always belong on that field.
