‘Goose Woman’ releases today!
.
.
.
It's been almost exactly two years since a talented group of artists came together to shoot this short film. 'Goose Woman' had a truly successful run, winning an award at nearly every festival where it played.
.
.
We won a Second Place Award, an Audience Choice Award, Ariel Pastore-Sebring (the film's lead) took home Best Actress, and we got seven total nominations!
.
.
A big thank you to our donors for their generous contributions to our festival campaign. We would not have been able to have this great run had it not been for your collective support!
.
.

THIS is a moment worth celebrating. Janet Champ’s induction into The One Club for Creativity’s Creative Hall of Fame is a recognition of an extraordinary career.

We’re honored to share her words as she celebrates this incredible milestone with the creative community, her peers, collaborators, and everyone who has been inspired by her work.

For those of us lucky enough to know Janet as both a creative legend and a dear friend, this one feels personal.

Congratulations, Janet. So deserved. So overdue. And so wonderful to see. We love you.

This week, Americares announced a record $50 million gift from an anonymous family, helping expand its global healthcare efforts and its goal of reaching 100 million people by 2030.

It’s incredibly meaningful to see the work move people to act and support such an important mission.

Happy National Dog Day from Arts Academy! 🐾❤️

Behind every great creative team is… a dog. Or several. 😉 If you know us, you know dogs are a pretty important part of the crew around here. They keep us company through long edit days, provide plenty of moral support, and generally make everything a little better.

So today, we’re celebrating the pups behind the people of Arts Academy. Swipe through to meet a few of our very favorite coworkers. 🐶

We announced the launch of Arts Academy five years ago on June 14th, 2021. On that same day in Tokyo, these stunning Deep Royal AMBUSH Dunk Highs were also released.

To show appreciation to our staff team on our five year anniversary, we gifted them these customized Dunks. We tracked down deadstock pairs for each member of our team and had them embroidered with an original oversized Arts Academy tongue label to match the oversized Swoosh as originally designed by Tokyo-based designer Yoon Ann.

Arts Academy is nothing without its people. We thank them for helping bring the dream to life, for their constant commitment to treating the work and the creative process with utmost reverence, and for making this place such a wonderful home to return to every day.

Six stories. One powerful truth. We need each other.

Social isolation has quietly grown into one of the defining health crises of our era, and its toll on our health is staggering. Connection isn’t just a comfort, but one of the most vital forces for our health and wellbeing.

If this campaign reminds us of anything, it’s that community is everything. At Arts Academy, we don’t take ours for granted, and we’re so grateful for the talented team of people we get to connect with everyday. Togethering Heals.
