This was the first DARC hat I bought, after I missed out on the OG MK-I order. I wore this out before I received the other orders, and somehow, it’s still my favorite.

It’s dirty. It’s stained. I could probably clean it up, but I’m going to leave it exactly as it is. Every stain has a story. Every mark is a reminder of somewhere I’ve been, something I’ve done, and the good/bad memories that came with it.

This one earned its character. The stains are staying.

CQB should look boring before it looks fast. Same principles. Same standards. Same decisions under pressure.

“TIME”- The older I get, the more I appreciate time alone. Sometimes life can be a little overwhelming, and that’s ok. I used to think, “I’m tough, I shouldn’t let certain things get to me”. But the truth is, no matter how tough you think you are, life will find a way to humble you.

Every chance I get, I like to sit down, alone, either at a coffee shop or brewery, and just reflect. Just me, a coffee (or beer 😉), and my thoughts. #happyfri̇day everyone 🙌🏽.

Random question on this beautiful Sunday… Which dial finish belongs on the next generation Black Rolex Submariner, No-Date & Date, Variants?

We can all agree the Rolex Hulk is/was an anomaly in many respects, good and bad. Matte dials however, similar to the SD43, 216570 Explorer 2, Tudor FXD’s for example, are tough to beat. Or, would a sunburst dial as seen on the Pelagos 39 be a nice choice? Does the gloss dial “church-up” the submariner in order to be the ultimate go-anywhere-do-anything watch?

-Should the next black dialed Submariners remain gloss, switch to matte black, or sunburst?

Stealth travel.

Low key watch.
Low key vault.
Low key luggage.

Carry what you love without advertising what you’re carrying. Stay under the radar, stay aware, and travel safe.

The best travel gear doesn’t need attention. It just needs to work.
