A little scroll of the process of a black and white collection of photos on canvas. Hope yall enjoy.

Thanks @knausgallery for inviting me to your summer group show!

I had an idea to collage 144 4x6 photos to a canvas, I realized one wasn’t large enough very quickly and it became three.. I used painters tape to join the overlapping layers and subway staggered the over laps row for row. used an adhesive spray to joint the images to the canvas. I made the simple frame out of 1x3 and 1x4 trim from Lowe’s. This thing is 72x36

I attempted to tie together images playing with the idea of past relationships, new relationships, friends, family, isolation, death and religion. Thanks y’all.

This is for sale and I’d like to donate the money to a local organization of choice (I’ll match the sale) if sold.

“Thank You For letting Me Be Myself” hard covers 10 year retrospective in the near future.
