I’ve tried to pretend it wasn’t happening since I first heard the devastating news, and still I’m in disbelief. The place I just began to call a second home is closing. The life I made there the people I hold dear into my heart are all heading separate ways. A place that was supposed to give me four more years of the sport I loved, stealing it away. And the friend group of my dreams heading back home to their lives. This place also gave me the man of my dreams and the best person I could’ve ever asked for, my boyfriend. If you told me I was gonna move to a college in the middle of nowhere and live the best life I could ever imagine, I’d probably giggle in your face, but if you brought it up now I’d probably sob and ask for more time. Thank you Anna Maria College for giving me a chapter in my life I don’t ever want to forget. ❤️
