Wednesday evening our Seniors graduated. It was a mix of happy moments as well as joyful tears to see them finish their high school career and begin a new journey in life. We will miss them participating in our FFA activities and wish them the best of luck as they pursue other dreams. Congratulations class of 2022.

Recently, our Ag classes planted a small orchard of apple trees next to the middle school. We were able to do this thanks to the donation of $1000 from PA FFA Foundation @paffafoundation Learning by Doing Grant. This has been a two year process of testing the soil, building the trellis, digging the holes, and planting the trees. We look forward to enjoying the treats that we can get out of these trees in the coming years.

Last night, our FFA members competed against students from Little Dutchmen, Northern Lebanon, and ELCO FFA chapters in our 3rd annual County Ag Olympics. There was a variety of events members competed in, such as an egg relay, petal tractor race, minute to minute games, and much more. Overall, we placed 3rd in the county. It was an eventful night of games, food, and socializing.

This morning, our Ag 4 class enjoyed their treat from having the highest participation as a class during National FFA week. They made “waffle sundaes” consisting of homemade waffles, fruit, and whipped topping. It was a great way to start off the school day!
