It’s official. Hannah James is ours forever! 🩷

This has been such a long and, at times, incredibly hard road.. but she was WORTH. EVERY. BIT.

There is so much I could share about the road that brought us here, and maybe one day I will. But this isn’t just our story. It’s Hannah James’ story, too, and we want her to have the freedom to share her part of it when she’s ready.

For now, all we can say is God is so good. He has heard the deepest outcries of our hearts. He has met us in the grief, carried us through the waiting, and answered prayers we prayed for years. We have a daughter, and we believe with all our hearts that God made her with us in mind.

We will forever speak highly of Hannah James’ birth mother. Her love and sacrifice are woven into the story of our daughter, and we will always be grateful for the gift she gave us.

To everyone pictured here (and to the many of you who aren’t pictured but have faithfully prayed with us and for us for so many years) thank you. You have carried us in our grief, stood beside us in the waiting, and rejoiced with us in our victories. We will never forget it.

Oh, what grace.

Hannah James, you are loved more than you will ever know. We love you forever.

And if you find yourself in a season of waiting, suffering, or wondering if God hears you: keep holding on. Keep praying. Keep trusting. We know firsthand that the waiting can be long and the road can be hard, but God is faithful in every season … and His goodness is worth holding onto.
