Sharing the first coverage for a new client:
The Grove KY is where I met Glasgow-Barren County KY Tourism’s vivacious Exec. Director MacLean Lessenberry (pictured). That first meeting turned into a partnership to represent this charming, authentic, fun, and so very pretty part of Kentucky.

The moment I walked into The Grove’s magical venue in the forest, I knew writers would find it to be unique and worth covering. Thanks for being the first journalist to see that vision, Lillian Metzmeier. Your Worth the Drive feature in the Courier Journal is worth a read (and a drive)!

More to come in a few days from another new tourism client.

Don’t miss this NYC bagel shop! 🥯🗽

During a recent trip to New York, MacLean once again proved her talent for uncovering delicious places to eat. Today we bring you @leonsbagelsnyc, a locally owned shop that has quickly become a favorite since opening not long ago in 2023.

On your next trip to the city, be sure to add Leon’s to your list!

Today, we rode the Bowling Green Trolley all the way to Glasgow for a special PMA On the Road Lunch 'N Learn! 🚎 We enjoyed lunch at Highland Social and heard from MacLean Lessenberry on the Glasgow-Barren County Tourist & Convention Commission's work to make the region great for both locals and visitors. Thank you to Med Center Health for sponsoring this event!

Florida’s best-kept secret? It might just be Amelia Island. 🌴

It’s a destination where you can slow down and enjoy the beach without fighting crowds or tourist traps, but the leisurely shoreline is just the beginning! In Fernandina Beach, the historic district blends quaint charm with a bustling waterfront, while just miles away you can wander the quiet trails of Fort Clinch, marvel at the driftwood sculptures of Boneyard Beach, or spot wild horses from the deck of an Amelia River Cruise. It’s the kind of spot made for a laid-back escape with equal parts history, nature, and small-town charm.

All of our recommendations are on roadtripzee.com - there’s a link in our bio!

This morning’s CMA Legislative Luncheon is a reminder of just how vital tourism is to our local economy — and to businesses like @thehiveglasgow . As an owner of The Hive, I see the impact daily: visitors who discover us while exploring Mammoth Cave, families traveling through who become regulars when they return, and tourism dollars that help sustain our growth and our team.
In 2024, the CMA region brought in $174.1 million in visitor spending and supported 1,350 jobs — a massive boost for small businesses across Barren, Edmonson, and Hart Counties.

I’m proud to represent Studio 22 Marketing today, and even prouder to share that I’ve accepted a seat on the Caveland Marketing Association Board. Barren County Tourism and CMA do incredible work to lift up small businesses, and I’m excited to support and strengthen that momentum.

Big thanks to @macleanlessenberry for ringing in her bestie’s 30th with a trip to the sweetest spot in Nashville. Custom candy bars, chocolatey fun and memories that stick around.
