This Saturday! Jules Broussard: the legend outliving all the legends! Sure, he was touring with Ray Charles over 60 years ago – and Santana, and Van Morrison, AND Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs – and he's still got the receipts from the road.

Lucky for us, Jules is more than happy to take a breath and tell us the stories he's accumulated in 70 years of playing with the greats. He's a little bit blues, a little bit jazz, a little bit rock 'n' roll – and ALL heart and soul.

Even living legends don't last forever, so make room this Saturday afternoon for a history lesson that quickly turns into a dance hall, and become part of our family at Mac's at 19 Broadway in Fairfax.

Marin County was always home to Jules Broussard, so this is an extra-special homecoming after more than a lifetime of sharing his music with the world.

Day 871

it feels like the darkest part is done and I can see a glimpse of light, finally.

the last couple weeks taught me something i kept hearing and never really got.

it's all in your mind. the habits you repeat when nobody's watching are who you are, and they're quietly building who you're going to be. i've been paying attention to mine, and changing them.

..And its been a great couple of weeks really. Ive met amazing people and done some cool things, I love creating and I love meeting dope creators.

Ive also discovered the act of humility and giving others the space and opportunity to shine, because in letting them shine I give myself the opportunity to shine too. It's in all of us.

keep showing up, keep dancing. the universe will do the rest.
