Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are places where individuals can go to make sacred promises with God, feel His Spirit, and escape from the hectic demands of day-to-day life. We are excited to have a temple coming to Charlotte, NC soon!

Here is a message from a newly wed couple from Burke County and their experience with the temple:

“Hi everyone!! My name is Carson Poarch and I grew up in the morganton ward. I moved to Utah after high school at Patton to attend BYU and met my husband Mac. We recently got married in the Mount Timpanogos temple and our experience was tender and sacred. We have been married for 6 months now and have never felt more blessed! We are so grateful for the temple and for a loving Heavenly Father who provided a way for us to be sealed together for eternity. We continue to serve at the temple and love that we can leave our troubles at the door focusing fully on our Savior!”
