pt. 2 bc it was that great of a year lol

I got to meet my long lost brother, see my people people lol and where I’m truly from, and visit my dad and uncle’s final resting places.

I walked in my first fashion show… then did that shit again 😎

I went to Costa Rica with my guys, which could be its own whole post lol, and had the time of our lives. Words and cameras couldn’t truly describe the sights and nature. We bungee jumped off a hanging bridge for whatever reason (i forced us to go and went last)

Watched Edu’s @thewhineup blow up and dragged my friends along to lose their hips 😂 Met her amazing friends as a result then celebrated Macu andddd Edu for their birthdays 🎉❤️

Became a Cuncle of 4* (cat-uncle)

Joined a cult w/friends (pickleball) and met a pirate. Then ended the year with my annual white elephant party 😎🎅🏿🦌

I laughed more, hugged more, rested more, listened more. I got a new spot with my dawgs. Went to engagement parties, weddings, saw some friends have kids, and some expecting couples.

Explored more of New York with Edu and @destawondirad. Met Dave Chappelle on the sidewalk lmao.

What a year gang, let’s double it

I’m late to the party per usual lol but 2025 was indisputably the greatest year of my life. Even more ups and downs than ever, but with 2024’s lessons under my belt, riding life’s waves was much more bearable.

This year taught me many lessons but the motif which stood paramount was “discernment.” For what did a life of emotional hardship endow me with if not a sharpened blade to separate that which seeks to serve me from that which seems to harm me. Discernment feels like the final badge in my self awareness. Discernment feels like a lens which is finally tuned to your vision. Discernment feels like a superpower. Lacking discernment will have you chasing people and spaces that don’t serve you. Only once a door closes can you the signs behind it.

Last year was the year of love and loss. This year was the year of rebuilding and cultivation, which none of that is achieved alone. I spent this year deepening connections with my loved ones. I leaned on the support systems that I hadn’t even realized I had built around myself. More beautifully is how instinctually they all sprung into action. They poured into my cup and I really watched it overflow.

I spent my year where it mattered, and for me, that was inward. I spent time grieving, reflecting, and growing while also stripping away all my pride. Discernment was the final maturation of my internal monologue. Accepting that what I see, hear, and feel are truth. Understanding that people will often try to measure your potential and success with the same ruler that defines their shortcomings. I reject all things which don’t align with my intuition and ease my nervous system.

Some hatchets got buried and others got buried with their hatched, either way I’m grateful for all the memories of the past year and can’t wait to see all the things in store for me and mine’s ❤️ forever thankful
