“Is there something God has been asking me to surrender? What does ‘I delight to do Your will’ look like in my life?” That is what September felt like. Awareness of what needs to be removed and pruned to be prepared for what is to come.

When you were ready to hit the gas and go then God says slow. Grateful for the times had, new places visited, memories made, new friends made, conversations and so much encouragement from God through people that was not captured. New beginnings, new pathways, and waiting. Trusting in the character of God, His love, comfort that has always been consistent and constant. Thank You God for always remaining. That when it feels so shaken You are The Rock we can put our hope and trust in.

I pray God truly blesses your walk and if you haven’t invited Him along that journey I pray you do.

God bless you now and always.

Words will never be enough to describe how much I love Kenya and his people. This trip, this team, the entirety of it all really embodied love like Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
There is so much I wish I could put into words, there were moments where we could have fallen apart due to circumstances but our faith never wavered, our trust in the Lord was firm, it grew us closer to each other. There were tears, joy, laughter, suffering and ultimately sacrifice; the kind of sacrifice to put yourself aside and do God’s will. Be a fool for Christ. What a privilege it was to go across the world again, help lead and be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve alongside such a beautiful group of people who’ve become family. To know what it’s like to live sacrificially and be obedient when God tells us to go. Here I am Lord, send me. It doesn’t matter where you start it matters if you’re willing, willing to be uncomfortable, uncertain, honest, vulnerable, on the ground for God. To put spiritual wealth above chasing status.
Thank you @chosenchildrenofpromise for hosting us, welcoming us and loving us. God sees your sacrifice he sees your yes, you guys do an amazing job, you love like Jesus you are patient, kind, humble and all the beautiful good things. I pray for God’s blessing over each one of you and what CCP represents. Kenya you are near and dear to my heart, my family.

It’s been a few weeks since Kenya, and I’m still trying to put into words what that trip meant to me.

So grateful for the people, the memories, and everything God did in and through us. Above all, thank You God for Your endless love and for allowing us to experience it in such a powerful way.

Asante sana, Kenya. Until next time. ❤️

KENYA

My heart will forever yearn for you, and my heart will forever be changed. There will never be enough words to explain the power of God and all that we witnessed together as a family.

To the family God blessed me with, thank you. It was an honor to serve alongside you and witness the gifts God has placed in each of your hands being used to glorify His name.

Thank you, @chosenchildrenofpromise, for welcoming us with open arms and for all that you are doing. And to my family in Kenya, thank you for showing us what God’s love truly looks like. My heart will forever be marked by you.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and prayed for us. Your support & prayers mean more than you know.

A year ago, the Lord placed a camera in my hands and called me to pause the future I thought I had. There were so many moments I felt unqualified, afraid, and unsure.

But saying yes taught me that it was never about me. Because without him I am nothing. It has and will always be about making His name known, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and showing the world the GOODNESS of our GOD.

It was an honor to capture even a small glimpse of what the Lord is doing in Kenya.

If you feel called to missions or have questions about our experience, I’d love to share more.

Never be afraid to say YES to what God is calling you to.

CCP Academy has officially reopened today for the third and final term of the 2026 school calendar. Students reported back to school accompanied by their parents and guardians, while teachers ensured that they had all the necessary requirements for the term.

CCP Academy teacher Davis Kidake encouraged the students to carry themselves with discipline and maintain the right etiquette throughout the term, reminding them that Term III is the shortest of the three terms. Term III for pre-primary, primary, junior, senior and secondary schools will run for nine weeks, from August 24 to October 23, 2026.

This year, our Grade 6 students will sit for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), while Grade 9 students will undertake the Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA).

CCP’s Spiritual Coordinator, pastor Bernard Oyalo, encouraged the students to remain focused on their studies and reminded them about the Good News Club, which begins this weekend across our four centres.

We are delighted to welcome our students back to school and pray that they have a successful, productive and blessed term ahead. 📚🙏

It has been a week since we said goodbye to our amazing @ONE&ALL Church team, who spent a whole week serving with us during our VBS.

On 7th August, we shared our final meal together, reflecting on the beautiful week we had spent serving, worshipping, laughing, and growing together. It was also a special time as members of the team got to spend meaningful moments with the children they sponsor—creating memories that will go beyond the VBS week.

Your presence brought so much joy and encouragement to our children and community. From leading sessions and sharing testimonies to playing, worshipping, eating, and simply being present, you gave more than your time—you gave yourselves.

A week later, we still remember the laughter, the conversations, the hugs, and the special moments shared.

Thank you, ONE&ALL Church team, for serving alongside us. We miss you already, and we look forward to the next time our paths cross. Until then, may God continue to bless and use you wherever you are.
