Some highlights from a set I got to do at the @utysaconf ! Brought along one of my fav people to sing with @kristendawnalley , and had the amazing @macwrightmusic on guitar. We sang some of my favorite songs and covers, and had a GREAT time doing it (make sure to listen to the end because Mac is 🔥🔥🔥).

What a night! 🎶 Last night was our biggest Singer-Songwriter Jam yet, and we’re already counting down to the next one!

So much talent, so many original songs, and such a great group of people coming together to share music, stories, and inapiration. We’re so grateful for everyone who showed up and made the night so special. ❤️

You thought it was over—then came the footnotes.  Almanac: Footnotes arrives July 31st at midnight ET.  💚💙💛

I originally planned to make a simple deluxe edition of Almanac with one or two bonus tracks. But as I sifted through the music I had written during that era of my life, I found too many songs I couldn’t bear to leave buried in the archives.

These songs don’t belong neatly within the central arc of Almanac—the highs, the lows, and the ache of the in between—but they are essential references to the story. Scenes scribbled in the margins. Names underlined for later. Small revelations that expand the meaning of everything around them. Footnotes are for the readers who want to look closer, dig deeper, and understand not only what happened, but everything that was happening underneath.

Some of these songs have also been reopened and reimagined alongside artists I deeply admire, whose voices revealed something in them that I could never have uncovered alone.

So instead of a couple of bonus tracks, you’re getting six:

POV: When the generator goes out… you put on your sparkly boots and throw a party on the grass. 🇺🇸🎸

What could have been a disappointing night turned into one of our favorite memories. Thank you to Riverton City and everyone who gathered around, sang along, danced, and made the best of it with us. Even though we didn’t get to perform on the big stage this year, you reminded us that it’s the people, not the stage, that make a show unforgettable.

We can’t wait to come back and celebrate with you again soon! ❤️
