We got married!!!! It was a magic day and it was MADE magic by the hearts and minds and hands of our friends and family. They sang and played guitar and read poems and gave speeches. They painted signs and mountains and hung lights and paper flowers. They drove all over the Catskills for ice and alcohol and honey and graham crackers and wildflowers. They built us an arch and covered it with those wildflowers. They collected over 100 mugs. They made a chocolate cake from scratch! They made mimosas! They MARRIED us! They picked even MORE wildflowers and arranged them in vases and in the earth and on the cake. They took photos and video and made us a guestbook with little stickers of Bear in a hat. They put up chairs and tables and took them down. They lit candles and used walkie-talkies. They shuttled people and heavy boxes. They did Isabel’s hair and makeup and laced up her dress, and taught Eric how to fold his pocket square. They lent us a treasured shawl, shoes, a necklace. They played music and danced with us until we were sweaty and drunk. They made us laugh and cry, and held us and kissed us. They walked us down the aisle and bore witness to our love. They blessed us. Here’s some bits and pieces of all of that!

First half of 2026 went HARD. My ass got BACK ON STAGE. Booked a cabaret in January, made my Off-Broadway Debut in Chasing Grace, went on VACATION, did a reading of an amazing new play by PJ O’Neal with a cast of literal stars, had a blast at @ruckusnewyork where I was in a HILARIOUS piece by Jordan Plutzer, and also wrote/directed/performed my own piece called Don’t Blink, Jane Jones. YOU GUYS I’M IN HEAVEN. My friend Isabel told me a few years ago when I was having a hard time to “surround yourself with people who make your world feel bigger.” And right now my world is endless. So thankful for all the people in my life. And I’m thankful for myself. Turns out when you believe in and care for yourself, people take notice. Hello 30, see you next Tuesday 😘
