The WGCA All-American Scholar Team was announced today and Women's Golf placed EIGHT PLAYERS on this prestigious list! To earn this distinction, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA and compete in at least half of the scheduled rounds played by their team. The reigning GPAC Champions get it done on the course and in the classroom. CONGRATULATIONS to this special group!

Congratulations to SIX Mustangs on being selected to the 2026 ALL-GPAC Team! Juniors Lucy Brown, Ivanna Becerra-Diaz and Kamryn Zuniga along with Freshman Macy Button earned First Team honors. Juniors Aidan and Alysen Sander received Honorable Mention accolades! Macy Button was also The 2026 GPAC Newcomer of the Year, who along with Dylan Welford gave Morningside a clean sweep of the Men's and Women's Newcomer awards. Nick Wanderscheid was named GPAC Women's Coach of the Year.

These young women did everything right both on and off the golf course this year and it is awesome to see their accomplishments rewarded with these well deserved distinctions. Congratulations, Mustangs!

Year 2/3! Currently just thanking Jesus that I made it through! It wasn’t an easy year by any means but I learned a lot about myself in the process and I’m extremely thankful. I’m insanely greatful for all of the friendships I gained and can’t wait to see what next year has in store! Roll Stangs baby!!! On to senior year ♥️
