The moments in between.
The rush.
The freedom.
The feeling of being alive.

Life. Leben. Живот.

Моментите между тях.
Бързината.
Свободата.
Усещането, че живееш.

the past week has been a bit of a blur and honestly i’m still trying to process it all. last friday i was in the UK for @bigchurchfest right after my set the festival was shut down and there were ambulances everywhere. majority of people weren’t really sure what was going on and as we headed to the airport we were still trying to figure out what had happened. we had a flight to catch back to the states for my next show the following day at liberty university. something i had been looking forward to for a long time. liberty was a place i once attended and a place where i wrestled deeply with God and the calling He had put on my life. in the middle of all that excitement we landed and found out that someone had passed away. that a sign had fallen injuring seven people and tragically taking one’s life. my wife and i immediately started to grieve for their families. it was such a strange feeling in that moment. trying to be excited about the show ahead while also grieving, praying, and trying to process what had just happened across the ocean. i didn’t really have the words for it in the moment but nonetheless pressed on. i went on to perform at Liberty and share my testimony in hopes that it would encourage those students to keep pressing into God even in the midst of whatever they may be walking through. after the show hearing students tell me how much the night impacted them encouraged me more than i can really explain. now that i’m home it all feels even stranger. mourning in one moment then pressing on to share the good news and finding joy in it the next. somehow both can exist at the same time. i think more than anything this week has reminded me how much of a gift every day is. how quickly things can change. even how prideful i can be at times. and how important it is to keep going after what God has called us to do while we still have the chance. i haven’t stopped praying for the families and everyone affected by what happened at big church as well as the founders and staff who have had to carry so much through all of this. my heart is with them.

the mission still stands. if anything it’s more clear than ever.

Thank you to the One who knew exactly what I needed and when I needed it, you continue to blow me away…

Isaiah 55:8-9 ~

“For my thoughts are not your thought, neither are your ways my ways. Declares the Lord.”

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

He is able to give you immeasurably more than you could ever ask or imagine, according to His power (Ephesians 3:20) we just have to ask and let HIM blow us away:) but without asking and humbling ourselves before Him we won’t be able to receive and inevitably set ourselves up for disappointment. Open your mind up to the infinite power of the King… and wait on Him!

THANK YOU JESUS!
