After 2 back to back season ending injuries, it left me questioning if my body was going to continue to let me play. I battled staying on the court last year and wound up having surgery. After 4 long months of physical therapy and working hard, I was cleared to play again. Sadly, 9 months after my surgery, I injured the same ankle again, but this time, even worse.

I had an MRI and many tests to see if I was going to be able to play again. Sadly, my doctor and I think it would be in my best interest to step down and prioritize my health. My doctor also thinks I have a genetic disorder and need 2-3 more surgeries. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my life, and I never imagined my career ending like this. I used to think I was valued by how I performed or played, but now I realize that basketball is way more than a sport. It has taught me how to have character, face adversity, and be a leader.

I want to thank everyone who has supported and cheered me on throughout the years. I’m so grateful for every team, school, and college I’ve been a part of. Every win and loss has shaped me into the man I am today. Even though my career has fallen short, I will always be able to cherish the memories and reflect on how much I accomplished.

Most of all, I want to thank my Lord and Savior for everything He has blessed me with. I haven’t deserve anything I’ve been given, and I wouldn’t have even had these opportunities I did if it weren’t for him. I know God will always be there for me, no matter what chapter of life I’m in. “Though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the lord will be my light.” Micah 7:8

Athletic development, elevated. 📈

Spent some time behind the lens capturing the assessment process, and the level of focus these athletes bring to the floor is on another level. If you’re looking to actually level up your game and see real results, you need to see what Jake Madole is building here.

No matter how advanced you are, Pilates will humble you.

These are part of the classical Series of Five—simple on paper, brutal in practice.

And here’s the truth most people miss: the more advanced you are, the harder the “simple” movements get… because you’re doing them better.

Beginner or pro athlete—Pilates doesn’t scale by adding chaos.
It scales by demanding control, precision, and intention.

Simple ≠ easy.
