Coming into Dallas for the wedding weekend a day early was honestly so genius of me! I got to spend time with my friends and I got to spend some time in the city reminiscing on my time there and creating some new memories.
.
I made time to do a little speed run through the Dallas Museum of Art, I had only been once when I lived in town and it was to see that Dior Special Exhibit that was travelling the country for a while. I had no idea I was missing out on such a lovely permanent collection!
.
The welcome party was also incredible, it was not only the start to a great weekend of wedding celebration, but lowkey felt like the start of a new life for me too! I have never had any trouble going out and doing things by myself, but entering a social space where you don’t know anyone AND are expected to socialize can feel a little intimidating. I am proud of myself for diving right in and inserting myself and I am so so grateful to @mad_sheer and @itstaylorlemke for being the first to make me feel really welcome and engaging me in conversation. It immediately set me at ease and I felt so comfortable bouncing around to meet new people for the rest of the night.
.
And honorable mention for the highlight of the evening was becoming local legends with @justjazzzyidk ! We ran the table at Stan’s with such a steady hand that our opponents were warning anyone who lined up to play us 😂😂

Digital collage highlighting some of my favorite moments from this weekend celebrating Sierra’s wedding. I wanted to spend a lot of time being present in the moment at the wedding festivities and unfortunately that means I am severely lacking in photos and videos from the parties themselves but these are some of the moments and outfits in between.
.
I didn’t think I missed Dallas all that much, but this is my second time back in a year and I can see myself visiting again soon. I can’t believe how much inspiration I felt, how much great energy I experienced, how much love and joy I witnessed!
.
It was a dream come true weekend! Thanks so much for including us in your day Sierra 💋💋💋
