πŒπ€πƒπ€πŒπ„ 𝐖𝐔 | ππ‘πˆπ’ππ€ππ„ πŸ₯‚ A Saturday afternoon of Asian-inspired flavours, riverside views and a little indulgence. ✨ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π„π—ππ„π‘πˆπ„ππ‚π„ There’s something special about a long lunch overlooking the Brisbane River, especially when a banquet and two hours of drinks are involved! We visited Madame Wu for their Weekends at Wu experience, a $99pp package including a generous shared feast and two hours of bottomless cocktails, wine and beer. From delicate kingfish sashimi and wagyu tartare served with Chinese doughnut to Moreton Bay bug dumplings, scallops with salmon roe, Tsingtao-braised snapper and kung pao chicken, there was plenty of variety to explore. Naturally, we couldn’t resist adding the prawn toast! 🍸 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π…πˆππˆπ’π‡πˆππ† π“πŽπ”π‚π‡π„π’ Our server was fantastic, bringing warmth and personality to the afternoon. The cocktails leaned a little too sweet for my palate, but the prosecco was beautifully chilled, crisp and refreshing. My only wish was for a slower pace between courses. Most dishes arrived almost simultaneously, leaving little opportunity to savour each one. ✧ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π•π„π‘πƒπˆπ‚π“ A gorgeous waterfront setting, attentive hospitality and an impressive spread make this a lovely spot for a weekend catch-up. At $99pp with two hours of drinks included, it’s an appealing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. A little more breathing room between dishes would have made the experience even better. πŸ“ Madame Wu | Brisbane, Queensland #BrisbaneFood #BrisbaneEats #BrisbaneFoodie #BrisbaneRestaurants #AustralianFoodie
