Only 2 spots left for our November sound bath at @madancelabstudio in Livonia, and December already has a waitlist! I would love to share this moment of pause with you. If you’ve been feeling called to join, this is your sign to save your spot at the link in bio/comments. Many blessings 💚

After eight years of partnership, I have decided to move forward on a separate path. Alejandro & Turquoise Dance Company are no longer associated with M&A DanceLab Studio or Kizomba Tá Doce, and I want to share this
openly and respectfully with our community.

I am very happy and proud of what we’ve accomplished together and of everything we’ve contributed to the greater Detroit dance community. Those years of collaboration helped shape so many dancers, teams, and moments that will always live in my heart.

All studio classes will continue as normal, and while there will be some updates coming to the training teams, my mission and commitment to providing a welcoming, high‑quality dance experience remain the same.

This is a new chapter for the studio, and I’m genuinely excited for the growth, creativity, and opportunities ahead.

Thank you for being part of this journey, the future is bright, and I can’t wait to continue dancing with all of you.

10 years strong. DOCE Weekend… what a celebration. Every student who came through, danced with us, and shared space… thank you. You remind us, TRULY, why we do this.

To everyone who’s ever jumped into our Leads vs. Follows choreo battles, you’ve kept the spark alive year after year. Those moments fuel us for the future.

Much love to the DJs and volunteers who made the weekend flow, and a huge shoutout to M&A DanceLab Studio for opening your doors and hearts.

We’re deeply grateful to Marta and Alejandro for the work you’re doing across communities — your support means everything.

We can’t wait to come back to you all soon.
