City Yth has a fall retreat every year called “The Weekend”. It was exactly 2 years ago I heard the students testimonies from “The Weekend” and committed to lead the sophomore guys’ small group. Those sophomores are now seniors and it has been so rewarding getting to be a part of their lives and pouring into them. They are a special group of guys and while I’ll miss them when they graduate I believe we will stay connected for not only this lifetime but for eternity. If you are looking for a dynamic youth ministry where the kids can have fun, make deep meaningful relationships and hear biblical teaching The City Church knocks it out of the park. The Weekend was phenomenal. I’ve been so impressed with the staff. @marktatum2, @rebecca_harrell_ , @blurlaub Brandon, & @joyexplosion are the Dream Team and are doing an incredible job attracting students with the intent of discipling them to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. I’m excited about what the future holds for city youth and I’m extremely grateful Robin and I, as well as our boys, get to be apart of it. @cityythfam @robindmcclure
