take a seat: we’re talking about SPIDER LUNGE 🕷️

this is an absolutely juicy glute and outer thigh move that actually requires no movement at all in the working leg ❌

hold a low, deep seat in your working leg with your opposite heel pressing into the back of the carriage. draw the carriage in with your non-working leg to find a 90 degree bend, then drive through your heel to extend your hamstring towards the back wall

(P.S. the updated Spider Lunge form in Lagree includes your torso leaning forward for a nearly tabletop spine with your arms fully extended out to the high handlebar in front of you!)

give these tips a try in your next class ⭐️

It rained on their wedding day, and still it was more than perfect. These two were meant for each other, and I am honored to have been able to help tell their story.

New Instructor Spotlight 📣 Meet MADDIE!

We got so lucky with this one and it was love at first meeting! Completing our Lagree L1 cert in May, Maddie’s Megaformer classes are equal parts challenging + entertaining and she may even have you laughing through the shakes 😁

“Hey ya’ll! I’m Maddie and I’m originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I earned my undergraduate degree from LSU (geaux tigers!), and am currently pursuing my master’s degree to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I grew up dancing throughout high school, and in college I was a dance coach and a group fitness instructor. I discovered (and instantly fell in love with) Lagree over a year ago and knew it was something I was passionate about!

I moved to Raleigh this past January, and I got married this May, so it’s been an exciting year of new beginnings! One of the first things I knew I needed to find after moving was a welcoming workout studio. That’s when I found MEGA, and I immediately fell in love—not only with the challenging workouts, but also with supportive community! MEGA’s energy and passion was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t be more excited to now share that with all of you! I can’t wait to encourage, challenge, and just have fun with you all!!”
