As I reflect on the past two years of my life, I am finding it extremely hard to put my thoughts into words. All I can say is that I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I am so very grateful for not only the opportunities but also the relationships that @daccwsb has brought me to.

It hurts my heart that I will never step on the field again matching with all of the women and coaches that helped build me into the person I am today. Thank you all for believing in me even on the days that I didn’t believe in myself. I would do all of the hard days over and over again if it meant we could have one more day as a team. While this is not the end of my softball career, it is a big milestone coming to an end, and I cannot wait to see where this new beginning takes me.

The friendships that I have made during my time in Danville are ones that I truly do hold very close to my heart. It is not a coincidence that we all ended up at the same place at the same time, people normally do not click the way that we all click. I’m going to miss seeing my best friends everyday (and the stupid nicknames)(and especially forcing Maddie to do everything with me all the time). I could write a book about every single one of you and never run out of things to write, just know, I am rooting for you all and I cannot wait to see where life takes you on your next journey.

If the goodbye is hard, you know your time was well spent. Stars ahead.🤍

Year one in the books and I am so beyond blessed to have been able to spend it with a team like this one. These people have become my family and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I love every single one of these girls so much and I can’t believe we only get one season all together, it goes by so fast.

To all of the sophomores, thank you so much for making us feel at home, bringing us into your family and showing us what a team is meant to be. And for all of us freshman, we can only hope to live up to the standards set this year.
