UPDATE: I have added the 20th as an available date!

Hello Williams Lake pals and clients! I’m coming back in the new year for another visit! Feel free to share this post to help get the news out.

I will be working in Williams Lake for a few days out of my dad’s old shop and would love to tattoo you. I will be taking on a limited amount of custom work but would also love to do some flash, I included some here but anything on my page is up for grabs. I have a limited amount of space available as I’ve already booked in my waitlist people so don’t hesitate! DM or email me at maddigabrieltattoo@gmail.com to book in, or if you have any questions. A $100 deposit will be required to hold your spot.

Hello Williams Lake pals! I’m coming back for a visit and will be doing some tattooing! Feel free to share this post to help me get the news out.

I will be working in Williams Lake for a few days and would love to tattoo you. I will be taking on a limited amount of custom work and also am happy to do a bunch of my flash, some of which I listed here but I have a bunch more on my page. I encourage you to check out my instagram to see my work to make sure I tattoo in the style you’d like! I am preferring to focus on black and grey for ease of travel, but if you’d really like colour let me know and we can talk about it. I will require a $100 deposit to hold your spot

If you’d like to book in or have any questions, about pricing, deposit policy, e-mail me at maddigabrieltattoo@gmail.com.

Thank you!

I’ve been very lucky to call many of my friends “coworkers” as well, but it’s really special when you can find a group of coworkers that you can call friends. 💜

Out to @themarqueeballroom @thelocalhfx and @theseahorsetavernhfx crews for raising each other up & pushing for synchronized excellence on & off the court 😍

Team’s on FLEEK!

💫Introducing the 2020 NSCAD Student Art Award finalist in Printmaking:⠀
Maddi Schachtel⠀
"Home Bodies" (series), 2019⠀
Lithography & Screen Print⠀
55.88cm x 76.2cm⠀
⠀
The series "Home Bodies" consists of three 22" x 30" prints; "The House is on Fire, So Let Us Warm Ourselves", "Burnin' Down the House!" and "It Wasn't Supposed to go Down Like This". Each print is on cotton rag paper and is a combination of lithography, supported by screen-printed colour flats.⠀
⠀
For the past two years, the content of Schachtel’s work has been solely focused on mental health in relation to architecture. Our bodies are our homes; the way we maintain these structures and the forces from the environment around us can dramatically affect the structural integrity of our homes for better or for worse. Schachtel explores this concept by addressing numerous subjects such as self-care, climate change anxiety, paranoia, and self-destruction. Heavily influenced by printmakers such as Kathryn Polk, she communicates these concepts via illustration and symbolism in lithograph and screen prints. -MS⠀
