🔥 One last fire in Mardella.

This Thursday feels a little different.

For the past year, this land has held something very special.

It’s a place where I was welcomed into community.

A place where men’s work was welcomed too.

A place where men have gathered around the fire, spoken honestly, sat quietly, laughed, reflected, and shared pieces of themselves that often don’t have many places to land.

And now, this Thursday will be our final men’s circle on this property in Mardella.

There’s something meaningful about that in itself.

But it also marks my first circle back after travelling east for The Gathering of Men, where we held space for around 260 men across five days.

To move from a gathering of that size back to this smaller local fire feels significant.

Different scale.

Same heart.

Men coming together.

Men remembering the value of being witnessed.

Men creating space to slow down and reconnect with what matters.

So this Thursday, we’ll gather here one more time.

Not to make it overly ceremonial.

Not to force meaning onto it.

Just to honour the place, the men who have sat here, and the chapter that has been held on this land.

If you’ve sat with us before, I’d love to welcome you back.

If you’ve been watching from the edges and wondering whether to come, this might be the night.

People care as self care 🌿

Permaculture holds ethics of earth care, people care, fair share. I think these are fantastic mindsets to hold. People care is the one we forget. When we respect ourselves, we respect the environments around us.

Inner work matters and it’s also easy to get lost in it. If you’re moving through a lot right now, sometimes the medicine is turning to our community. Be a breath of fresh air for someone. Give love and it reflects back to you.

When I spend time with women of creative fire, beauty & passion i start to see the mirror.

Spending time with grounded, heart-centered women through Lineage Ritual Dance Theatre project has filled me with so much joy. These women have anchored me in self-belief, kind words and sweet gestures. The ripple effects are so precious.

Community doesn’t happen on its own. We have to show up for it. I am often humbled by this.

So how can we soften into a little more kindness, compassion and love for those around us this week?

Love, Asha 🤍

The power of manifesting✨🧚‍♀️💐

Two years ago I started growing flowers for the bees…🐝 Then I turned into a complete book worm reading all the books I could find on growing flowers.

Now I’m a florist/flower farmer growing flowers for weddings, birthdays, baby blessings, funerals, and so many other special moments in people’s lives.

I read this quote recently….
“You spend money on something that’s only real purpose was to be beautiful for a few days. No productivity. No practicality. No ROI.
Just: “I thought of you” or “I know this will make you smile”.

Just because it will make you smile.🥹
Yes the flowers won’t last forever and that’s the point. 💌✨

No one lights up after I give them a tomato that I grew and that will actually feed them. But when I give flowers they light up with pure happiness.. and that’s the point.

I’m so happy I get to spread joy and magic to you all. Xxx ✨💐🧚‍♀️💌🌸🐝

🔥 Sometimes the hardest part is simply deciding to come.

Lately, I’ve been noticing a little resistance in men around stepping into men’s work.

And honestly, I understand it.

There can be uncertainty around what it will be like.

Will I fit in?

Will I have to share something deeply personal?

Will it feel awkward?

Will I know anyone?

Sometimes the idea of sitting with a group of men can feel harder than the actual experience.

But something seems to shift once we gather around the fire.

Men arrive carrying their own questions, their own relationships, their own pressures, their own ways of moving through daily life.

And slowly, the shoulders drop.

The conversation becomes easier.

Men begin noticing how they are showing up in their relationships.

How they respond when challenged.

Where they disappear.

Where they react.

Where they stay present.

And perhaps most surprisingly, how easy it can be to connect with other men when nobody is trying to impress, fix, or compete with anyone else.

That is one of the things I continue to love about this circle.

The connection doesn’t need to be forced.

Sometimes it is already there.

We just need somewhere to remember it.

This Thursday, the fire is open again.

If you have felt curious but hesitant, you are welcome to come and simply experience it for yourself.

No expectation to share.

No need to know what you’re coming for.

Just come as you are.

We start the day the same… Ziah wakes us up.
Banana pancakes get made immediately (five eggs go into these lucky we have chickens).
Then I bribe my children to get dressed, obviously after I already had two coffees to get me though the lack of sleep and mini arguments between my children at 6am then boots on and into the garden.

If I'd turned 30 in the Middle Ages, by now I would have borne multiple children and likely succumbed to a horrible virulent disease. Luckily I turned 30 in the year 2026 and got to have a sick party with my amazing wonderful friends 🪩👸🏽🗡️🍷❤️‍🔥
