Congratulations to outgoing Sophomore Pitcher, Maddock Day ( @maddock.day ) on his commitment to the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, a member of the Lone Star Conference in NCAA Division II.

Over his time at Douglas, Maddock established himself as a mainstay of the Royals pitching staff, finishing his career 2nd All Time in Appearances and 4th All Time in Strikeouts in program history.

Maddock brought competitiveness to the mound every time he got the ball and was someone we could rely on in any situation. His work ethic, consistency, and commitment to getting better set a great example for his teammates throughout his time at Douglas.

During his two years as a Royal, Maddock left his mark on our program through his performance on the mound and the way he competed every time he got the ball. While we are sad to see him leave Douglas a year early, we are excited to see him take this next step in his career. We are proud of everything he accomplished at Douglas and grateful for everything he brought to our program. We wish you nothing but success in the next chapter of your baseball career, Maddock!
