➡️ SWIPE ➡️ to see opening reception!
This art show was phenomenal. Open until November 15th! Pictures will never do justice, but in this humble homage to the show “Kaleidoscope Hispanica” you will see:
1️⃣ Artist Cynthia Pareja Dubin mid-interview with Joanne Santiglia, ✍️ writer of the exhibition’s spotlight article published on @tapintolocal of @southorangevillage in front of the two huge, majestic works “Buscando Santuario / Seeking Sanctuary” & alongside her two smaller works “El Primer Canto Del Madre / The Mother’s First Song” (check out the link to the complete article on @cyndsgnr link in the bio or DM me)
2️⃣ Works “Bruja” & “Bombastic” by @rayarcadio also among the artists featured in the article, who can be seen admiring work by artist & curator @jesusnunezart of @jnunezgallery alongside works by @cyndsgnr (as well as my stumbling the camera giving @studionumbernine a fist bump)
3️⃣ Amazing pieces ranging from the small, colorful works of @yigsymagaly to the massive black & white abstracts of @guillermobublik
4️⃣ Rapper & Podcaster @maddopemadic taking an incredibly close look at the sculptures by @audweepaints
5️⃣ Incredible compositions from @artist.duran @victormanuelguerraart @elsan1 @erikart2016 @alexplatartist & @saralunart
👏👏👏
Overall a stunning spotlight of art by the Latin diaspora of New Jersey at the beautiful Baird Center, tucked away from the noise of New York City, yet just a short train ride away!
🎨🎨🎨

I am deeply grateful for the support and enthusiasm shown by all who attended the “Kaleidoscope Hispanica” exhibit @southorangevillage @pierrogallery & curated by @jnunezgallery

Your presence served as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of art to connect, inspire, and enrich our lives🧡

The vibrant tapestry of cultures that have enriched our Hispanic heritage was beautifully reflected in the diverse artworks on display. I hope you enjoyed the journey through our worlds, as we sought to capture the essence of our experiences and share them with you.

A special thank you to my talented artists from The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey & South Avenue Arts, who joined me from my abstract art class. Their participation was a source of immense pride and inspiration. Your support means the world to me💕🙏

To my family, friends from NYC and Jersey City, your presence was a cherished gift! Thank you for taking the time to celebrate the beauty of Hispanic art!

Thank you @tapintolocal for the interview!

More photos soon!!!

Curly cuts of the week we got Garnett Strother @strother_pt with the curly textured top and classic mid skin fade. We have @maddopemadic with mullet mohawk style and @dope_esen with the one and a half fade low taper. I have been having fun with figuring out curl patterns, how to style curls, and overall shape and silhouette.

We met the lead artisan of the Quebracho framing company (https://www.quebracho.com). We entered the business thinking it was a plant store. We discovered the place that creates frames for paintings at the top museums like MOMA, the Met, etc. Since the 1800s beginning in Italy to Argentina to the USA, a long family tradition of craftspersons.
