My little Memorial Day baby turns 21 today. The woman she has become is absolutely more than I could have imagined. The 21 years of loving her and being her momma are simply are not enough. She has challenged me, inspired me, and grown me in so many ways. She is determined, dedicated, committed, kind, giving, and never gives up. She loves the Lord and serves others in everything she does from kindergarten Sunday school, Parkdale elementary, to advocating for mental health at her college. Her struggles, triumphs, and losses have not defined her but refined her into a strong, caring, passionate, and loving person. She has sacrificed a lot this year in pursuit of her goals for the future and I know God will guide her and place her where He has for her. She is leading out unashamed of her faith and I know that will be blessed. To the sweet brown eyed baby that made me a mom to the strong determined woman who still looks at me with those sweet eyes, I love you, happy birthday! Know you are always loved, supported, and a precious jewel!!! The year ahead is going to be exciting and we are more than grateful to cheer you on, hold you when feel down, and laugh and celebrate during all the in between. Besides MCAT prep, may the day be filled with Coffee, hearts, hugs, food, and lots of celebrating you. We love you Maddy Claire!!!!
