Love letter to summer 💌

herriman softball,
all 4 years of playing for this team have been the best years of my life. freshman year i got to play with my older sister gaby, and we took 2nd in the state championship. sophomore year i made friendships that are worth everything. junior year i lead the team in batting average and made it clear i could be there for everyone on this team. and senior year, the best for last has been the best season i’ve ever had at herriman, region champs (never done in my career btw), making it to the state championship, making an even bigger name for myself, and having fun. don’t get me wrong not everyday has been easy especially with how much this sport wears down your body, and the times where you just don’t have the confidence. but these girls, the coaches, and my family are the reason i push to be the player i am today. herriman has not only just been my team but they’ve been my family. thank you to the coaches for pushing me to be my best self everyday. thank you to the girls for having my back and making me want to show up for you everyday. thank you to the parents for cheering and doing all this stuff for us. and last but not least thank you to my parents for being there for me every game and sacrificing your time and energy just to see me do what i love most. herriman softball will forever have a place in my heart and at the end of the day, you just need to have fun. it’s funny how we ended where we started. thank you forever herriman! now on to bigger and better things! #18 signing out💗

this post is so hard to write. i played my last game this weekend with 7 of my seniors. i’ve been so grateful for these guys as they have taken me in like they had know me for years. i have made best friends and it’s so hard to see them go but im so excited to see the amazing things they do in college. i am so grateful for the amazing example they have been to me.

i love this team💙🤍! i have been so lucky coming onto a new team with such loving girls!

This was a very tough and emotional post to make. Most of the girls are all moving on to go play ball in college.

Im so grateful that I had the opportunity to come to this team and be part of something so amazing and so special. Joining this team was the best decision I have ever made. These girls showed me what it’s like to have a real softball family. And they have had such a huge impact on my life since i’ve joined this team. This is the best group of girls and I’m sad to say it’s come to an end. I enjoyed every moment I was part of. I’m excited for all my girls to go ball out in college and for me and a few others to ball out for one more year. I’m beyond blessed and grateful for each and every one of my girls that I got to play with. It was quite the ride with y’all. And I’m so grateful for all of my coaches for the time and sacrifices they have made for my team.
