Thank you @messiahwvb for hosting an amazing prospect clinic! Thank you to the coaching staff and players for making it so enjoyable! Even though I wasn’t able to finish out the day, I’m so grateful for everyone who helped me, and still made me feel welcomed! Thank you Kenzie, Leah, and the rest of my team for being so supportive. I’m grateful I got the opportunity to know more about Messiah and what it’s like to grow stronger in your faith while surrounded by others doing the same! Go Falcons!!

give it all to God!

to my coaches and teammates, thank you for one of the best teams I’ve been apart of. although there was much trial and error, we came out of this season on a high note. it took many practices full of laughter, connections, and serve receive drills to get us where we ended up. many memories were made with the people I love that I’ll cherish for a very long time.

to the team i helped out with, you are truly some of the best people I’ve worked with and i am incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished these past two years! lastly a huge thank you to those who came to support me and the team, it was always an honor to have you there!

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT🌟 #16, Maddye Slonaker!

Maddye is a setter/pin hitter who has been playing volleyball for 7 years, and has been with Black Rose VBC for 3 years! She is one of our two captains for the team! Her favorite pre-game meal is a Dunkin iced caramel latte and fruit!

thank you @beachyorkvb for such an amazing experience! i loved meeting everyone this week and playing volleyball with new and old friends! also a big thank you to all of the coaches, especially jackie and hailey, for everything! I’m extremely grateful for everyone’s help

God is so good… how lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

to the team that changed everything- you have become my safe space without even trying. this is a talented and resilient group of girls, and it is so rewarding to play alongside each of you.

the coaches were a huge part in leading us to our success. Thank you to Coach Lindey, Coach Chris, Mallory, JoEllen, (and everyone else), who were always there to cheer us on and to provide us with a constant support. they pushed us out of our comfort zones which only made us better players. they helped me with the mental side of the game, and it has changed the way I play.

this team is something special as we are now the most decorated team in Black Rose Volleyball Club, but there was so much more to this season than just winning. I was very lucky to have gotten to know everyone, and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I will forever miss the people that I made bonds and grew closer with.

i would also like to give my appreciation to the 14u team that i helped coach, and the 16u team that i had the chance to play up with! they were all very energetic and the most welcoming people as well.

needless to say, these teams and these people have changed me. I am so eternally blessed and grateful for everything. this moment hasn’t gotten any easier, but now it is time that I must say my last goodbye to the best team I’ve been apart of.

im so glad we could take home third place at my first outside doubles tournament! we played 13 games overall, but it was sideout scoring, so some games took longer than usual. it was an amazing experience and i would definitely recommend it
