For the past 14 years, my life has revolved around softball and for the first time it finally won’t. Softball has shaped me into the person I am today and I will forever be grateful. We had a lot of ups and downs but at the end of the day, you always put a smile on my face.

To my parents, thank you for sacrificing everything to make my dreams come true. From sitting out in the sun for hours at tournaments, traveling around the country and having to take off work, and for spending countless hours practicing outside in our cage.

To my siblings, thank you for being the best role models anyone could ask for. Watching you guys follow your dreams allowed me to realize that I could do the same too. I’ve always looked up to both of you and loved watching the game you guys loved to play, which made me follow in your guys footsteps. You guys set the bar high for me and pushed me even harder than you guys did yourselves.

To my coaches and all teammates, thank you for pushing me through hard situations and always being by my side. You guys showed me that you will always have my back through thick and thin. Each and every one of you will always be considered family to me!

Softball has prepared me for my next chapter in life and I’m excited to see where it takes me!
