One last ride 🐎

How can something this special already be over? I don’t think words even exist to truly described what I’ve lived through these past three years. These pictures represent maybe the 1% of the memories I’ll bring home with me. I lived the most beautiful dream I could have ever wished, made unforgettable by the people who were part of it. In these three years, I discovered a side of myself that had never come out before: brave, determinate and genuinely happy, proving to myself who I am. I had a dream since I was a little girl, to live the American dream. Now I understand why people call it like that. It’s not a movie… it’s even better, and it’s only because of the people I met along the way. I rediscovered my passion for this sport and the determination that was always inside of me. This school and these people turned my dream into reality and, without a doubt, I can say I have never been this happy in my life. Every smile, every tear shared with these people has been the final, perfect touch to something indescribable. I am incredibly grateful to have lived all of this, first of all with myself, but also with my boyfriend, my family back home, and this new family I found here. Everything will be in my heart forever. Thank you. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang 🐎

Maddy Storm with an amazing performance this morning in a swim-off against Augustana! She broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke set by herself back in November at Luther Invite.

Maddy’s time of 1:05.42 is not only a personal best time but a school record, and allowed her to qualify as top 8 at finals where she placed 7th overall!

Good job Maddy!

And they did it again!!!

The relay of Nevi, Storm, Bohnert, and Geier broke the school’s 400 Medley Relay Record with an amazing time of 3:54.99. The girls also got 5th place overall!!! 🐎
