HTX @beatsessions.tx WAS SO FUN!! This was my second Beat Sessions 2v2 battle and @l.rhae ‘s first and we came correct, representing @ftkatx and Houston hip-hop. We fkn slayed that!! 🔪 (Those highlights on Rhae’s piece!! 🥷🏼😱) Can you believe it was only an hour and a half?!
.
Quick shouts to the other amazing competitors in this first ever all-female Beat Sessions battle:
@kimieflores & @blanco_arte (character)
@texas.lemon & @pickurpoisn (letters)
@clear_1 & @purple.sody (2v2) vs FTK
.
Thank you to @badastronautbrewing for hosting and to @brikslovesyou and @nickydavis for inviting us and coordinating the event!! The shirts looked so badass with special inks and all of our designs collabed, printed on-site by @think_big_production. @djalmightyx was playing the greatest jams all night and kept the energy pumpin! Saw so many cool bikes from @clutch_city_cruisers and it was really just such a fun time… we didn’t win, but we were really proud of what we put up… and, look, we aren’t going to talk about how much I had to clip down my Hot Shot video 👀🏀 (you know who you are!)
.
Also shout outs to @paleopagan89 for letting us crash with you and getting these videos of us painting!! And to @iamrunning for grabbing lunch with us on the way out.

Thank you to our judges & DJ: @samosoto @teresa.espinosa22 @soulbrothervluv @a1supremenyc

We were honored to host our first ever 2v2 Hip Hop/House qualifier for Bgirl City 2024. This moment was so beautiful & important to our organization.

Our mission is not only to elevate our women & youth but to be inclusive of all genres, dance styles & love for the different elements. We couldn’t do what we without the consistency in love & support we receive from all over.

Thank you 🤍
Stay tuned. 👑
