The bees are busy buzzing and collecting in the flower field, two sweet little surprise gladiolas popped up in a weed patch, amaranth is growing at record speed (please let me know if you need any for weddings, drying, or anything else. I would love to sell it!), and fresh bouquets are at @madeandfoundupstate in Delhi!

The last time I visited Delaware County, New York, everything was covered in glittering ice and snow. It was beautiful…but I couldn’t stop wondering what it would look like in the middle of summer, all lush and green. The @catskillmountainyogafestival was the perfect excuse.

It was everything I wished for, and then some

I spent 48 hours exploring, shopping, and eating…and here are the places you need to add to your Delhi itinerary!

🥾 Hike the 3.6 mile Bramley Mountain Trail to the fire tower. (This is part of the Catskills Fire Tower Challenge)
🍸 @eightymain for an upscale menu featuring local farms and producers.
🧘🏻‍♀️ @catskillmountainyogafestival at SUNY Delhi (keep an eye on their page for other events and festivals coming up!)
🪴 @madeandfoundupstate for plants, locally crafted items, and vintage finds.
🪞 @thestonehouseshop for vintage finds and beautiful handmade home decor.
📸 @thisandthatdelhi for a hand picked collection of old and new things.
🍦 Blue Bee Cafe for baked goods, coffee, and of course…ice cream
📚 @lostbookshopny for the sweetest collection of books you could hope for
🍴 @hollowcatskills for breakfast or lunch…we loved it so much we tried both!

A few other things that definitely made me stop and smile…a local resident blowing giant bubbles in the picturesque town square for small children squealing with joy and a beautiful park that offers self serve kayak rentals to explore the West Branch Delaware River.

If Delhi wasn’t on your radar it should be!

So last week, I mentioned that Rosella was going to be the first dahlia to bloom. Well, my daughter, Rosella, decided that she wanted the first bloom for herself so she ripped it off before it bloomed.🤣 So Rosella is not the first to officially bloom. The black beauty, La Recoleta, wins out, followed by the intermittent petal popper Cancan Girls in red. I’m on vacation this week, but I can’t wait to get home to see what else is in bloom! Coming to you soon at @madeandfoundupstate !
