Still dazzled by this experience with @apple and the @royalballetschool at Apple Covent Garden earlier this week. Feeling so honoured to have been asked to lead this workshop of live drawing movement and to see so many people show up and to have had this precious time with the mega talented students at the RBS. Observing and drawing from their movements was such a special treat and I’m stunned by all the beautiful work that’s come from this session by everyone who attended. Thank you to all the Apple ADs and creatives for all your hard prep work and to the Royal Ballet School for lending us your talents. <33333

🌿 When we asked the artists what materials are used in this artwork, they responded: Map printed on paper. Feet on the forest floor.

Come pick up your map in the gallery and get your feet on the forest floor in the gallery’s woodland!

Using the map, families meet the past and present inhabitants of the woods through play, story, and imagination.

✨ Created by writer & theatre-maker Adam Kammerling (@adam_kammerling) and heritage producer Jessica Ihejetoh, this experience invites environmental stewardship through joy — made even more magical by the illustrated map from artist Holly Thomas (@madebyhollythomas)

📖 Tap into the ancient stories whispered in the trees. Let the forest lead the way. #FamiliesInTheForest

Thank you to @print.work for printing and photographing the Families in the Forest map

#MindfulPlay #Environmental #FamilyActivities #OrleansHouseGallery #NatureAndImagination #OutdoorLearning #ForestMagic This page, part of the leaflet, depicts a young boy reaching for a squirrel. It says “squirrels. Her soft fingers and palms raise an ancient riddle, are their hands like ours, or are our hands like squirrels’? Touch the bark with your whole hand, is it smooth or rough? Now just use your fingertips, does it feel different? Imagine a squirrel at the base of the tree, imagine its route to the top of the trunk. Will it return to your hand, or run free?
