Not just an @axisparty.la post, but about Labor Day weekend. We were forced to pivot and condense two parties into one and make our fall seasonal install an early one, and this was Copia - a celebration of abundance, and damn if magic isn’t real. We did it on a Friday, we had Saturday to rest, Sunday was an epic and WET @hotdogsundaysla followed by @bearsinspaceuniverse and @viceunderground - such beautiful magic in LA queer nightlife and I am so glad to have the privilege to contribute Thank you to everyone for the encouragement to keep doing what I do, and thanks to the team And @djjackfaulkner - this partnership is a gift I could never have imagined, you’re an artist and it’s an honor to watch you grow The weekend ended on a sad note losing a loved one in our community who was such a bright light - I dedicate the gratitude of this post to the heart and soul of @lululovebttm, you’ll be with me the next time I’m dancing under lights and fog. The parties continue, and they are a space to celebrate but they’re also a space to grieve. Fly high, sweet boy, and thank you for closing this epic weekend with giving all the ones who knew and loved you a chance to reflect on the preciousness of life and the pain we dare to ignore. Hug someone on a dance floor this weekend, for lulu. ❤️

Oh Axis, thou hast bewitched us again. Thank you for welcoming, encouraging, and igniting my joy. For being a circle my inner sacred satyr could come play. Also, where I can be a witchy nerd… Nietzche calls the satyr “the archetype of man, the embodiment of his highest and most intense emotions.” I mean 💅🏻 Thank you @axisparty.la for the revelry & exploration. 🌙 #satyr #bacchus #dyonisus #cernunnos #livelaughlarp 🐐

These two. These two are the reason why I get to wish you a Happy Father’s Day. These two are the greatest gift you have ever given me. They don’t remember moments like this one, but I will never forget them. You have always been our rock and north star and I don’t know what we’d do without you. So, thank you for being the man that you are and for loving us the way that you do. I love you!❤️
