I’m feeling a little wordless at the moment. My @goldsborobooks edition of Once Upon A Broken Heart arrived today and it’s beautiful. All the books are beautiful and my heart is full to bursting.

When I started writing, over ten years ago, I was afraid to tell anyone what I was doing. I was embarrassed. I didn’t want to say that I was trying to get published and then fail at it—which I did, over and over for years and years. I remember wishing that I had a different dream, that I could fall in love with something else, because for so long I loved writing, but the world of writing didn’t seem to love me back.

During those years I would have never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would I have table like this, with so many beautiful special editions. All I wanted was one person in publishing to love one of my stories—and that truly felt like an impossible dream.

I know I’ve shared pieces of this before, but I wanted to share this again, because I’m feeling extraordinarily grateful but I also I imagine there are a number of you out there that have dreams that feel impossible. But I believe with all my heart that dreams only become impossible if you give up on them. Not to say that all dreams come true, but I do believe that even just pursuing dreams will take you somewhere wonderful that you might have never found otherwise. ❤️

I know I shouldn’t have favorites but if I had to pick a favorite edition of Once Upon A Broken Heart, it might be the @fairyloot edition, which was featured in their October box.

@fairyloot went all out with this incredible edition. I’m going to share more in my stories because I couldn’t capture all the magic of this book in just one picture!

The @fairyloot edition has an alternate pink cover with a reversible dust jacket that has art from @rosiethorns88 . @rosiethorns88 also illustrated the magnificent foil design under the dust jacket—which is perhaps my favorite feature (and if you’ve read the book, you probably understand why). This edition also has beautiful illustrated end papers, with pictures of all my main characters. Lastly, this edition is signed and it has some very special bonus material.

A narrativa é em primeira pessoa feita por Kyle, o famoso clichê capitão do time que namora a líder de torcida... Quer dizer era capitão e namorava.
Kyle perde sua posição no time. Kim termina com ele. Kyle e Kimberly sofrem um acidente.
Muita informação de uma vez só? Isso é só o começo.
Fui surpreendida durante toda a leitura, jamais imaginava que tudo aquilo ocorreria, todo o suspense e agonia torcendo pela felicidade de Kyle que nunca chegava.
Ele acaba descobrindo que perder alguém que você ama não significa nunca mais poder amar alguém.
Uma pessoa muito especial cai de paraquedas em sua vida, onde no lugar de duas pessoas feridas surge um lindo amor.

A narrativa é linda, fácil de ler e compreender, vocabulário bem juvenil, leitura do tipo "preciso devorar o quanto antes para descobrir o final" Kkkkkkk e um amor apaixonante.
Está na minha lista de favoritos - 5 estrelinhas ⭐

That's me sold then.

All This Time is a standalone novel by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott.
Summary : Kyle and Kimberly have been the perfect couple all through high school, but when Kimberly breaks up with him on the night of their graduation party, Kyle’s entire world upends, literally. Their car crashes and when he wakes up, he has a brain injury. Kimberly is dead. And no one in his life could possibly understand. Until Marley. Marley is suffering from her own loss, a loss she thinks was her fault. And when their paths cross, Kyle sees in her all the unspoken things he’s feeling. As Kyle and Marley work to heal each other’s wounds, their feelings for each other grow stronger. But Kyle can’t shake the sense that he’s headed for another crashing moment that will blow up his life as soon as he’s started to put it back together.

Review : All This time is a Young Adult contemporary romance, there aren’t enough words to describe how breathtakingly beautiful this novel is, my emotions were going through a roller coaster the entire time. There was so much grief, guilt and loss in this book that made me shed some tears but all the love and cuteness also made me smile. It was cliche and arguably may even have some plot holes but there will never be another book that breaks my heart, then puts it back together, bit by bit like this one. The writing style was infectious and the plot twists were gut wrenching. This book wrecked me in all the best possible ways. It was not what I was expecting, it was better, but the ending was over the top. Lastly, Lisa Perrin designed a stunning cover for this novel.

She sold this poison to women trapped in unhealthy and dangerous marriages. Aqua Tofana was disguised as a healing oil or a perfume. “Tofana's business was finally revealed to the Papal authorities by a customer; however she was so popular that the locals protected her from arrest. She escaped to a church, where she was granted sanctuary. When a rumour that she had poisoned the water supply tore through Rome, the police forced their way into the church and dragged Tofana in for questioning. Under torture, she confessed to killing 600 men with her poisons in Rome alone between 1633 and 1651, but this cannot be confirmed”. This gorgeous map was illustrated by the amazing @virginiaallyn 💔 I’m a little biased, but I think it’s the most magical map of all time. Although, I still can’t decide which part I love the most. It could be the baby dragon, it could be the pastry goblin tossing sweets, or it could be the snow on top of the sign. 💔🦊🍎
